Sleep Disorders
A Good Night's Sleep is More Than Just a Dream
Sleep disorders are complex and can be difficult to accurately diagnose since there are a variety of sleep and other medical disorders with similar symptoms. In addition, symptoms like chronic tiredness and restless sleep can stem from emotional illness or other physical conditions.
Mease Countryside Hospital Sleep Disorders center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and features a team of physicians and medical professionals with expertise in sleep medicine, ENT, neurology, pulmonology and psychiatry. All of our sleep technologists, who are either certified or eligible for certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT), observe sleep behavior and collect the data that will be analyzed to help diagnose your condition.
State-of-the-Art Diagnostics and Facilities
Our state-of-the-art sleep laboratories are equipped with the most advanced diagnostic sleep testing available. Polysomnogram (overnight sleep studies) take place in comfortable, private patient bedrooms, closely monitored by polysomnographic technologists. A detailed sleep evaluation is compiled and sent to your doctor with a recommended treatment plan.
