Morton Plant Hospital

Founded in 1916, Morton Plant Hospital was the first hospital built in northern Pinellas County. Today, our 687-bed facility provides award-winning care delivered by board-certified physicians and Magnet-caliber nurses in more than 50 specialty areas.

Our longstanding commitment to serving the health care needs of our community continues with our recently begun expansion efforts, a four year project that will include a new patient tower, an additional main entrance and the relocations of surgery, women's care and orthopedics to better meet the needs of the future.
