Radiology Results Without Waiting

Morton Plant North Bay is only hospital in Pasco County that offers the lightning-fast speed and accuracy of digital technology to help patients obtain radiology test results sooner. The latest in imaging technology, the Picture Archive Communication System (PACS), a computerized system, creates digital images of X-rays, CT scans and ultrasounds, eliminating the use of film and, therefore, development time. Digital technology enables doctors to receive the reports they need to provide diagnosis and treatment for patients more quickly and provide diagnosis and treatment for patients more quickly.

BayCare Outpatient Imaging Services

Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is affiliated with BayCare Health System, a leading community-based health system in the Tampa Bay area.  With 22 convenient locations, you won’t have to travel far to find one near you.

To schedule an appointment at any one of our BayCare Outpatient Imaging centers, including the one on the Morton Plant North Bay Hospital campus, call (727) 461-8555, Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm and Saturday 8am – 1pm. 

To contact the Medical Imaging Library, call (727) 462-7471, Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm. Film or CD pick-up is available at any of our BayCare Imaging Service locations. Please allow 24 business hours for delivery to the imaging location that you will be picking up your CD or films.
