CLEARWATER, Fla., (February 7, 2013)-- Morton Plant Hospital invites patients with diabetes to learn more about insulin pump therapy and those with ankle and foot pain problems to attend one of the health seminars scheduled at the hospital in March. The free health seminars are held at the Cheek-Powell Heart and Vascular Pavilion on the Morton Plant Hospital campus at 455 Pinellas St., Clearwater.
Insulin Pump Therapy for Diabetes
Wednesday, March 6
Endocrinologist David Leonard, MD, will discuss how patients with diabetes may benefit from managing the disease with an insulin pump and the various options for insulin pump therapy.
Treatments for Ankle and Foot Pain
Friday, March 8
Join orthopedic surgeon Richard Abdo, MD, to learn more about common foot and ankle conditions and the latest options for treatment.
