June Seminars Spotlight Parkinson’s Disease and Healthy Weight for Children 


CLEARWATER, Fla., (May 17, 2013) – Morton Plant Mease health experts will present three health seminars at the Aging Well Center in June focusing on Parkinson’s disease and healthy eating habits for children. The health seminars will be held at Aging Well Center at the Long Center, 1501 N. Belcher Rd., Clearwater.


Introduction to Parkinson’s Disease


Wednesday, June 19, Noon


Join neurologist Michael Andriola, MD, to learn more about early symptoms, motor and non-motor of Parkinson’s, and how to manage it.


Keeping Kids at a Healthy Weight


Wednesday, June 19, 5:30 p.m.


Pediatrician Kathy McNeely, MD, will discuss ways of establishing healthy eating habits to give children the tools they need for a lifetime of nutritious eating and exercise.


Moving with Parkinson’s


Monday, June 24, 2 p.m. 


Join physical trainer Jeanmarie Scordino, M. Ed., FAFS, to learn more about exercises that can help patients with Parkinson’s disease move through daily activities.
